Volunteer Opportunities
Office Staff:
- When: Tuesdays –Fridays: Shifts: 10:00 – 1:00: 1:00 – 4:00
Duties:
- Respond to phone and walk-in inquiries
Receive donations of clothing, items for furniture barn
Screen individuals for eligibility for services
When: Tuesday-Friday, 10-3; 2nd & 4th Saturdays, 8-12
Duties:
- Sort and display clothing items
Staff clothing closet when open
Food Pantry:
When: Second and Fourth Tuesdays,
Duties:
- Assist with bagging and distribution of food
Food deliveries
Backpack Buddies;
When: Flexible times
Duties:
Assist with bagging and delivery of backpacks
Furniture Barn/Yard Sale:
When: Tuesday-Friday 10:00-4:00
Duties:
- Pickup donated items
Deliver items to clients
Sort and price donated items
Staff yard sale on Second and Fourth Saturdays
When: Flexible hours as projects are scheduled
Duties:
- Assist with construction of Ramps
Project Manager for HRP projects
Assist with HRP repair projects: roofing, electrical,plumbing, general repairs
- Thanksgiving and Christmas dinner preparation and deliver
Christmas toys collection and distribution
